This policy provides the data classification methodology and requirements for the Department of Administrative Services (DAS) for the purpose of properly identifying and labeling data and information assets according to their levels of confidentiality and criticality. The classification of data and information assets provides a basis for deploying appropriate levels of security relevant to the use, management, and control of data and information assets.
