Tracey Winbush is a northeast Ohio leader who, among many accomplishments, was the first African American appointed to the Mahoning County Elections Board. She was appointed to the Ohio Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Commission in 2018.
Winbush is CEO of Opsimedia, Inc. and host of the Tracey & Friends radio talk show on WSOM-AM 600 in Salem, Ohio. She is the owner of Unlimited Adds, LLC, a full-service multi-media advertising and marketing consulting company, and the first woman hired as a general sales manager for a radio cluster in the Mahoning Valley.
Winbush began her political career more than twenty years ago working in the juvenile division for Trumbull County government.
She is currently assistant treasurer of the Executive Committee of the Ohio Republican Party Central Committee and secretary for the local county party. She was elected to the Youngstown Board of Education in 1999 and ran for Youngstown president of council in 2004 and Mahoning County auditor in 2010. She is also a veteran coordinator of local political campaigns for gubernatorial candidates.
Winbush is a minister at Perfecting Church in Detroit, Michigan, and chaplain of the Legacy Health Services Dandridge Burgundi Skilled Nursing Facility.
