This unit is responsible for managing the state’s job classifications and establishing the compensation philosophy and associated pay schedules. The unit provides consultative and training services to agency customers; establishes minimum qualifications for recruitment and selection; provides labor market data and benchmarking tools; collects information on employment and wage trends; conducts position description compliance reviews; and facilitates agency job audits.
