Combined Charitable Campaign

The Combined Charitable Campaign (CCC) is an annual initiative that encourages State of Ohio employees to donate to one or more of 1,100 local, regional, and international charitable organizations. CCC consolidates many charitable campaigns into one, asking State of Ohio employees to voluntarily donate through payroll deductions or a one-time gift.

During the 2021 campaign, more than 6,200 State employees donated $2,317,011 to 917 charities, surpassing the $2.2 million goal. You can find the details of the 2021 campaign in our CCC Thank You Newsletter

For more campaign information, participating charities, charity codes, and more, checkout our CCC 2022 Resource Guide.

Testimonials

Here are some personal testimonials from our colleagues.

Clinical trials helped save my son's life!

Your donations to the American Cancer Society and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital allowed my son to take part in a clinical trial that saved his life. THANK YOU!

Kidney Foundation helps those in need.

I support CCC to assist those in my community and globally, who benefit from important services they may not otherwise have access to. My primary charity of choice is the Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio. The foundation provides education, medications and transportation services in my community for those facing kidney failure, dialysis or transplant. As a board member and a kidney recipient, I understand all too well the need for CCC. Thank you all for your continued support!

HIV patients helped during holidays

Each year rain or shine, I'm Ms. Claus for Equitas Health (Charity 19083) to make sure that clients have a fun and happy Christmas. Clients or family members may have HIV and may not have access to food, gifts or even family who cares, so I donate time and money to make sure for the past 30 plus years that this worthy charity has had a merry Christmas for each client we serve. Hugs included.

Payroll Deduction Makes Giving Easy and Impactful

The CCC allows me to make a larger impact through payroll deduction throughout the year than I could otherwise. I appreciate that there is a charity for every cause and that they provide a summary of each charity including how much of my donation is being used for administrative costs. The online pledge is very convenient and makes giving a breeze.

Payroll deduction makes giving easy

My daughter had Cystic Fibrosis and received her Wish before she died (at the age of 9). I know how wonderful it was for her. I have given to the Make a Wish Foundation and to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for at least the last 15 years. The payments come out of my paycheck and are not even missed, I just sign up every year and it is all taken care of. Thanks for making it so easy to give.

Charities Interested in Joining the CCC

Thank you for your interest in the State of Ohio Combined Charitable Campaign (CCC). The campaign coordinating organization welcomes the opportunity to expand its charity listing with new charitable organizations and looks forward to working with returning charities.

A few of the basic requirements for participation in the CCC include:

  • The organization must be a member of one of the federations that participate in the campaign
  • The organization must be a 501(c)3 charity
  • The charity must be registered with the Ohio Attorney General's Office.

If your charity is already a member of one of the participating federations and meets the qualifications above, please communicate with your federation representative about the application process, who will help you prepare and submit the required paperwork.

If you are not currently a member of one of the participating federations, you can find a list of the participating federations here. You will need to work with one of these federations to become a member and be eligible to participate in the campaign.  Each federation has their own membership criteria and deadlines for accepting new members.
