Marissa Walter became the DAS Human Resources Administrator in 2012. As the HR Administrator, she oversees the Office of Employee Services, which supports DAS employees and applicants for employment in a variety of human resource functions including recruitment, labor and employee relations, payroll, benefits, performance management, diversity initiatives and more.
Prior to joining the Office of Employee Services, Marissa was a Policy Analyst in the DAS Office of Collective Bargaining (OCB). While with OCB, she provided guidance to agency management staff on labor relations matters, provided advocacy and consultation on mediation and arbitration cases, and conducted administrative investigations.
Marissa is a member of the Ohio Bar and received her Juris Doctor from Capital University Law School in 2007. She received her bachelor’s degree in business economics from the University of Dayton.
