Custom Training Courses

The Office of Collective Bargaining Training recognizes that due to time limitations and need for training on agency-specific processes as they relate to the statewide administration of the collective bargaining agreements, there may be need for training within the agency.

In order to best utilize all available resources, and ensure that the training offered is tailored to the agency’s practices and procedures, all requests for agency-level training will require some review and confirmation of content.  In addition, our office will work to accommodate all learning objectives and preferred training dates and locations.  In order to accomplish this, our training staff will respond as follows:

1.    Follow up on initial request within one week to discuss general learning objectives,
     training needs, current agency initiatives and procedures;

2.   Confirm preferred time period/date(s) for training;

3.   Confirm internal agency approval and appropriate agency person to participate in review of
     material and training;

4.   Confirm at least 20 people will be in attendance or discuss alternatives (e.g., combine
     training with other agencies; send participants to OCB Academy, etc.)

Once our staff confirms general learning objectives and appropriate agency contact, we will schedule a review meeting, and modify content based upon agency feedback.

The review meeting will result in finalized training material and objectives.  Most training requests can be accomplished on agency preferred dates and/or within one month of the request.

If you would like to request agency-level training for your exempt agency employees, please contact
