Central Service Agency

The Central Service Agency (CSA) provides services for budgetary, fiscal, payroll, and human resources activities to 25 state professional licensing boards and other boards and commissions as they provide licensing and other services to their constituents. CSA services are provided both as a statutory mandate (ORC 125.22) for boards and commissions as well as at the requests of other boards and commissions desiring the cost-efficient, centralized services of CSA. By participating in these centralized services, these boards and commissions save money that would otherwise have to be spent on employee payroll, benefits, training, and other costs associated with hiring employees to do this work. In addition, centralization of these services ensures each board’s compliance with Ohio laws and state policies governing purchasing, budgeting, hiring, employment, EEO, labor relations, and more.
