CALL CENTER MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS (CC MIS)

The Ohio Office of Information Technology (OIT) maintains and administers the Call Center Management Information System (CC MIS).
This service is available to State of Ohio agencies, boards, and commissions. The CC MIS is
designed to help supervisors plan, manage, and monitor their Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) operation by collecting statistics on the performance of equipment and personnel.
Supervisors manage their agents through menus accessed at a supervisor terminal.

At Call Centers, a group of employees, referred to as "agents", handle large numbers of
incoming calls to available agents, thereby increasing the call center’s call
handling capabilities. Supervisors use the CC MIS as a tool in monitoring ACD agents
as they handle ACD calls. In addition to monitoring, supervisors also use the CC MIS
to plan and manage the ACD operation.

Call Center Supervisors use supervisor terminals to perform the majority of their job
duties. Their terminal is used to monitor agents, create schedules, print reports,
alter the configuration of the ACD operation, and perform various other duties.

The CC MIS Supervisor Terminal/Desktop PC:

The windows interface allows you to run multiple windows-based applications simul-
taneously with the CC MIS interface. The windows interface also allows you to
perform simultaneous CC MIS tasks. For example, supervisors may monitor agents in
one window and customize reports in another window.

For more information regarding this service please contact the OIT Host CC MIS Administrator:
