Step Movement
Newly hired employees will move to the next step in their pay range after completion of probation. Subsequent step movement shall occur after one (1) year of successful completion of probation provided the employee receives an overall rating of “satisfactory”. . . If the employee’s performance evaluation is not completed on time, the employee shall not be denied a step increase.
Step increases shall be effective after six (6) months from the date of hire, and shall occur annually thereafter if the employee receives an overall "satisfactory" rating on his/her six (6) month and annual performance evaluations thereafter. . . If the employee’s performance evaluation is not completed on time, the employee shall not be denied a step increase.
