WHAT
WE DO
The Classification and Assessment unit creates and revises all classification specifications, conducts position audits, point factor evaluations, union mandated reviews, approves PSMQ's and assigns pay ranges to classifications. This unit also conducts job analysis, writes tests and/or proficiency exams and researches competencies.

and maintains the State of Ohio Classification Plan
