Your Benefits: A Quick Look

Disability benefits provide medical benefits and income for you if you suffer a non work-related injury or illness. The benefits provide a portion of your base rate of pay if you are disabled and unable to work for more than 14 days.

Workers' compensation benefits provide income and medical care for you if you become disabled "in the course of and arising out of" your employment. The Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) provides payment of your medical bills through a Managed Care Organization (MCO). BWC also provides payment for your lost wages if you are unable to complete your work tasks for more than seven consecutive days.

Unemployment benefits provide income for you if you are separated from employment and unable to find suitable work.
