Design Scope:
Design a one-floor open space for the customer service function of circulation, genealogy, government information, interlibrary loan and talking books. Design office and modular areas for staff of 95 while integrating historic elements and including environmental conditions for the unique storage needs of rare and historic Ohioana items and State Library rare books.


Project Goals:
Move agencies from 65 South Front Street to make room for the Ohio Supreme Court. The State Library had been in this location since 1930. Locate a space large enough to hold the weight of the State Library stacks. Provide additional space for library community events and training.
