A MAJOR CHANGE
Effective June 1, 2007 the current method of submitting all bids either via fax, email or U.S. mail has changed. The closing time for all ITB's is at 11:00 A.M.
Our current informal bid process called quotes, the ones you fax to a secure site to State Printing & Mail Services will be eliminated. Also, the old way of mailing Invitation to Bids in a sealed envelope to State Printing & Mail Services will no longer be the accepted method of submitting your bid. All bids issued by State Printing & Mail Services will become an Invitation to Bid (ITB). Your bid prices can only be accepted through a web based system. No other method of delivery will be acceptable. For an overview of this new system, click on the Online Bid Submission Overview tab on the menu located at the left portion of this page.
Term Contracts
A large portion of printing is purchased from term contracts. The state competitively bids approximately 55 different term contracts every two to three years.
