The non-computer courses include topics such as financial statements for non-financial managers, writing and grammar, goal setting, time management and stress management.

The catalog also includes information about the following professional, administrative and leadership programs: Human Resources Academy; Is Supervising for Me?; Ohio Certified Public Manager Program; Peer Today, Boss Tomorrow; People Matter Series; Professional Administrative Support Services (PASS); and Project Management.

Customized training to meet specific agency requirements for staff development also is available as well as the Learning Resource Center, which offers customized training for individual needs.

Funding sources for eligible employees include the Exempt Professional Development Program for exempt employees, Union Education Trust for Ohio Civil Service Employees Association/AFSCME Local 11 bargaining unit members, and funding programs for bargaining unit members of Service Employees International Union/District 1199, Fraternal Order of Police, Ohio Education Association and Ohio State Troopers Association.
