SAO College attendees learn from
design, construction experts

Approximately 250 customers attended the State Architect’s Office (SAO) College held Feb. 1 and 2 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center as a part of the Ohio Design and Construction Expo.

This year’s SAO College provided agency customers, including architects, engineers, contractors, construction managers and state agency/institution owners, with information on how to do business with the State Architect’s Office to help produce successful public construction projects.

The event featured presentations about working with the DAS EDGE program, resolving construction issues and closing construction projects as well as obtaining work with the state and filing state documents.

The topics were presented by an SAO staff expert in conjunction with a specialist from the architectural, construction or legal community, or from a state agency or state institution of higher education.
