Three earn Superior Accomplishment Awards

Congratulations to the following employees who received DAS/OIT Superior Accomplishment Awards at a ceremony held July 27:

  • Mike Poliseno, state procurement analyst, DAS General Services Division
  • Sandy Posey, executive secretary, OIT Service Delivery Division
  • Edward Razler, computer acquisitions analyst,  OIT Investment and Governance Division

The Superior Accomplishment Award program is the agency's employee recognition program. After being nominated by co-workers, managers, employees or customers, awardees are chosen by a committee for their outstanding work, quality service, enthusiasm, dedication and teamwork. They received a certificate for a day off with pay, a framed certificate signed by Governor Bob Taft and their director as well as a Successories desk plaque.

The awardees were recognized during the ceremony by Scott Johnson, DAS director; Mary Carroll, OIT director and state chief information officer; Walter Callahan, deputy state chief information officer; Jeff Westhoven, deputy director of the DAS General Services Division; and Tom Hart, interim administrator of Acquisitions Management, OIT Investment and Governance Division.
