Superior Accomplishment Awardees recognized

Congratulations to the following 10 employees who received DAS Superior Accomplishment Awards at a ceremony held Feb. 17:

  • Mike Hager, Administrative Support Division
  • Jim Rooker, General Services Division
  • DAS Wellness Team of Gary Allbright, ASD; James Austin,     Equal Opportunity Division; Dawn Wyne, GSD; Joseph
        Holliman, Human Resources Division; Nancy Brogle, Office
        of Collective Bargaining; Jencie McCloud, Office of
        Information Technology's Investment and Governance
        Division; and Kathy Teeters and Angela Weis, both of the
        OIT Service Delivery Division.

    • The Superior Accomplishment Award program is the agency's employee recognition program. After being nominated by co-workers, managers, employees or customers, awardees are chosen by a committee for their outstanding work, quality service, enthusiasm, dedication and teamwork. They received a certificate for a day off with pay, a framed certificate signed by Governor Bob Taft and their director as well as a Successories desk plaque.

    The awardees were recognized during the ceremony by DAS Director Scott Johnson, DAS Assistant Director Nikki Guilford and Deputy State Chief Information Officer Walter Callahan.
