State employees can now access
pay stubs online
-- DAS Office of Employee Services, January 2006
The Ohio Auditor of State’s
Office has announced the new
State of Ohio Employee Online Earnings Statement Web site.
The site, which may be accessed
anytime, anywhere, is designed to give state
employees secure online access to their earnings
statements.
All state employees who receive an earnings
statement from the Auditor of State’s Office
and are enrolled in direct deposit are eligible
to register for this online program.
Please note: Employees will no longer receive a paper
earnings statement once they are registered online.
Key benefits of the online pay stub program include:
- Convenient online access to earnings statements
- Ability to print statements
- E-mail alert sent to employee when current earnings statement is ready for viewing
- Online statement is accessible two business days prior to actual direct deposit
- More secure than paper copies which can be lost or stolen
- Saves the state money by eliminating paper, printing and distribution costs
Employees may register for the online
earnings statement program by going
to https://secure.auditor.state.oh.us/. Employees will need three pieces of
documentation in order to enroll: their
employee ID (located in the first line of the paper statement),
birth date and current home ZIP code. Employees
also will be asked to create a user name,
password and to provide a personal or
work e-mail address.
Statements are available online the Wednesday
before payday Friday. The site has the capability
to show current payday statements, as well as
previous statements dating back to Jan. 22, 2005.
If you have questions or comments about this program,
contact the DAS Office of Employee Services at (614) 466-2136.
