Congratulations to PASS graduates

Congratulations to the 10 DAS employees who graduated from
the Professional Administrative Support Services (PASS)
programs during ceremonies held recently.
The PASS Level 1 and 2 programs are part of the ongoing
efforts of DAS to provide quality continuing education for state employees.
PASS Level 1 is a 12-week course
meeting once a week. Participants learn communication,
math, computer, organizational, time management,
problem-solving, decision-making, listening
and memory skills.
More than 309 state employees have graduated from
Level 1 since 2001. This program received the 2004
Program of the Year award from the National
Association of Government Training and Development Organization.
PASS Level 2 is a 14-week, team- and project-based
program meeting once a week. Participants expand
on the skills gained in Level 1 and prepare for
leadership roles in the workplace.
More than 60 state employees have graduated from Level 2 since 2003.
The following DAS employees were recognized during one of five graduation ceremonies held recently:

PASS Level 2 graduates

- Angela Stasiak, General Services Division, Office of Procurement Services
- Jackie Stevens, GSD Office of Procurement Services
Eligible participants of the PASS program may use funds
from the Exempt Professional Development Fund or the Workforce Development
Fund.
