The awardees were recognized during the
ceremony by DAS Director Carol Nolan Drake and OIT Director Mary F. Carroll.
The Superior Accomplishment Award
and Quality Service Award make up the agency's employee recognition program.
After being nominated by co-workers, managers, employees or customers, awardees
are chosen by a committee based on specific criteria. The Quality Service Award
honors individuals or work groups for providing quality service when conducting
their day-to-day duties. Awardees that go beyond their daily duties to perform
outstanding work and quality service also receive the Superior Accomplishment Award.
