Blood drive schedule for 2006 announced

DAS/OIT employees will have many opportunities to save a life by donating blood at DAS/OIT worksites during 2006.

Below are the 2006 schedules for the DAS/OIT-sponsored blood drives in the Rhodes Tower Blood Donor Center and General Service Division headquarters at 4200 Surface Road:

The GSD blood drive on Feb. 22 will be held in the Walnut Room; locations for future blood drives will be announced as soon as confirmed. To schedule appointments at Surface Road, please contact Steve Morbitzer of GSD Procurement Services via e-mail at steve.morbitzer@das.state.oh.us or phone (614) 466-0530.

Blood drives are held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Employees interested and eligible to donate are asked to speak with their supervisor to identify the blocks of time they are available to donate. After making the appointment, employees are asked to inform their supervisor of the appointment time.
