The next meeting of the Multi-Agency Radio Communications System (MARCS) Steering Committee will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 14 at the Office of Information Technology/MARCS Program Office.
All MARCS Steering Committee meetings are open to the public. The agenda of the MARCS Steering Committee meeting may be obtained by written or telephone request to the MARCS Program Office, 2323 W. Fifth Ave., Suite 150, Columbus, Ohio 43204; (614) 995-0060.
MARCS is the state of Ohio’s comprehensive wireless communication system for police,
fire, Emergency Medical Services and other public safety forces.
MARCS provides wireless voice and mobile data for state agencies, including the Ohio departments of Public Safety,
Rehabilitation and Correction, and Natural Resources. MARCS also provides wireless voice radio service for more
than 600 local, county, township, federal and private first-responders.
The mission of the Ohio Department of Administrative Services, under the leadership
of Director Hugh Quill, is to provide quality services to its customers in order to lead, support and facilitate the efficient operation of state government.
