STATE TO HOLD SURPLUS VEHICLE (Columbus) --
The Ohio Department of Administrative Services will hold
a state surplus vehicle auction on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 4200 Surface Road, Columbus.
Gates will open at 8 a.m. The auction will begin at 10 a.m. Vehicles may be inspected Oct. 10
through Oct. 13 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and started only on Oct. 13 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Cash, cashiers check, business and personal checks will be accepted if accompanied by
an irrevocable bank letter of credit to guarantee payment.
Surplus property auctions permit the public to purchase quality goods that state agencies
no longer need and generated more than $690,847 during fiscal year 2007. The Ohio Department of Administrative Services, under the leadership of Director Carol Nolan Drake,
