State to host surplus property auction May 19

(Cincinnati) – The Ohio Department of Administrative Services (DAS) will host a state surplus property auction Saturday, May 19 at the Summitview Behaviorial Center, 1101 Summit Road, Cincinnati.

The auction begins at 10 a.m. Only cash and credit cards will be accepted. Full payment will be required on the day of the auction. All items bought must be picked up by 4 p.m. the day of the auction

Items up for bid include:

  • 10 sets of washers and dryers
  • 23 housekeeping carts
  • Office furniture
  • Lawn equipment
  • 12 floor buffers/scrubbers
Surplus property auctions permit the public to purchase quality goods that state agencies no longer need. State surplus auctions have generated more than $3 million during fiscal year 2007.
