What: Public Schools Health Care Advisory Committee
When: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Jan. 10, 2007
Where: Ohio School Boards Association
  8050 N. High St., Columbus

The next meeting of the Public Schools Health Care Advisory Committee will be a joint meeting with the School Employees Health Care Board and will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 10 at the Ohio School Boards Association.

The agenda will include a discussion of the final Mercer report, which examined the feasibility of pooling health care for public school employees. Members also will work on the Board’s report to the General Assembly and governor, which is due by Jan. 31, 2007.

The committee is an 18-member body appointed to advise the School Employees Health Care Board.

The nine-member board is appointed to study the feasibility of providing pooled health care benefits for K-12 public school employees.
