Office Overview

The DAS Information Technology Services office provides a comprehensive approach to the effective use of information technology throughout the agency. IT Services provides application system development services for both departmental and divisional systems. Departmental systems are those systems that will be used by the entire department. Divisional systems are those systems that exclusively support a core business function of a single division.

IT Services provides desktop support services for most of the department, including both hardware and software installation and maintenance. Departmental LAN (local area network) management also is provided by IT Services.

IT Services is responsible for maintaining the department's Web pages. The DAS Web template is based on the state's portal and offers both virtual navigation and traditional hierarchical paths to access information.
