To the extent you can, please remind employees that the special open enrollment ends Friday, November 18th.

For those interested in enrolling in the Health Care Spending Account or the Dependent Care Spending Account, they must do so on/before Friday, November 18. Their next opportunity will be a year from now.

Although employees may enroll in the long term care plan at any time, now is the time for employees to enroll using a short-form medical questionnaire. Employees who may be unable to satisfactorily answer the long medical form should take advantage of this opportunity.

Interested employees should go to the Benefits’ Website www.das.ohio.gov/employeebenefits and click on the special enrollment button to enroll or get more information about the three programs being offered.
