Workers' Compensation: When an Injury Occurs

  • Report the incident or injury to your supervisor immediately. Follow your agency’s policy on reporting incidents and injuries.
  • Obtain medical care promptly. Your agency can provide you with names of occupational medicine physicians in your area who can assist. If emergency treatment is required, go immediately to the nearest emergency facility.
