The Office of Procurement Services is comprised of State Purchasing, the Office of Procurement from Community Rehabilitation Programs and Cooperative Purchasing. As the purchasing arm of state government, State Purchasing is responsible to establish contracts for all types of supplies and services required by state agencies. OPCRP, formerly the State Use Program of Ohio, assists state agencies with purchasing various supplies and services from community work centers that employ individuals with work-limiting disabilities. The Cooperative Purchasing program combines the purchasing power of participating political subdivisions, such as local governments, schools and universities, to procure supplies and services at the lowest cost. |
