The Ohio State University
Heart & Lung Institute
Columbus, Ohio

Project Scope:
Located in the core of The Ohio State University Medical Campus, the Heart and Lung Institute is a new 149,000 square foot facility attached to the University Hospital proper. It houses configurable lab spaces on its upper floors as well as classroom and administrative offices below.

A six-story atrium running the length of the building promotes collaboration between researchers while providing natural lighting and simplifying circulation.

Project Completed: 2000

Construction Cost: $21.7 million
