Real Estate Services serves as a full-service real estate office within the General Services Division of the Department of Administrative Services. In accordance with the provisions of O.R.C. 123.01, the Department of Administrative Services is assigned the responsibility of administering the real estate needs, with a few legislative exceptions, for all state entities.

The Real Estate Services section represents most state departments, boards, commissions, colleges and universities throughout the 88 counties to provide complete real estate services. Included in this scope are appraisal review, commercial leasing, easements, land leasing, and the purchase and sale of real estate. Additionally, the Real Estate Section provides special expertise in advising, directing and resolving real estate issues in the areas of real estate property management and land surveying.
