2007 EEO Academy

The Equal Opportunity Division’s Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunity (AA/EEO) Unit would like to thank all EEO professionals, human resources officers, mediators and other state employees responsible for implementing EEO laws for participating in the new EEO Academy. Scheduled dates were Sept. 28, Oct. 12 & 19, and Nov. 2, 16 & 30, 2007.

It is our goal to enhance professionalism by providing leadership and continuing education in EEO to EEO and other human resources professionals.

The curriculum again encompassed a wide variety of topics, and we also included an "EEO Roundtable" for an in depth discussion of EEO practices in state agencies.
