The Ohio Department of Administrative Services, Equal Opportunity Division is responsible for providing leadership to state of Ohio agencies in the area of equal employment opportunity.

It is for this purpose we have sought the most knowledgeable and competent professionals to provide training to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Managers, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Coordinators, Human Resources and Legal professionals who are responsible for implementing state agency EEO programs.

This year we will examine issues surrounding the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Our theme is ADA Inclusion, Access and Compliance. The retreat will feature speakers from around the state who are experts in the area of Equal Employment Opportunity and the ADA.

We look forward to sharing updates and gaining further insight of what many
consider to be the most sweeping piece of civil rights legislation since the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Due to limited seating, EEO Officers and ADA Coordinators will be given first consideration for attendance. After which, registration for this retreat will be open to State of Ohio HR and legal professionals with responsibilities in the area of EEO or ADA. These individuals will be notified of confirmation to attend by January 31, 2003 via e-mail.
