The
Office of Training and Development added a new course during fiscal
year 2002 to help office professionals strengthen their skills.
By the end of the biennium, 93 government employees graduated from the 12-week
Professional Administrative Support Services (PASS) program, which
teaches communication, math, computer, organizational, time management, problem-solving,
decision-making, listening and memory skills.
Other
training opportunities offered through the Office of Training and
Development Services include One-Day Competency Builder courses and the Computer
Enhancement program. During the biennium, several thousand government employees
took advantage of these training sessions at partner colleges.
