New PASS courses begin in September

Professional Administrative Support Services (PASS) courses will begin Sept. 4 at Columbus State Community College and Wright State University.

The 12-week program helps government employees enhance their math, communications, computer, problem-solving and organizational skills. The course is open to state employees as well as limited numbers of county and local government employees.

Tuition is $595. Sources for reimbursement include the following: Eligible members of the Ohio Civil Service Employees Association can apply for assistance through the Workforce Development program. Eligible exempt state employees can apply for assistance through the Exempt Professional Development Program.

Students graduating from this Level 1 course will be able to advance to the Level 2 course, which will be offered beginning in the spring of 2004.
