State Printing administrator named
NSPA president

-- GSD
Office of State Printing and Standards, September 2003

Joe Tucker, administrator of the GSD Office of State Printing and Standards, was elected president of the National State Publishing Association during the annual conference of the organization held in mid-September in Des Moines, Iowa.

His one-year term began after the conference ended. He just completed serving as vice president for one year. Prior to that he was the treasurer and director of the eastern region, one of four regions.

The membership in the association primarily consists of printing administrators for state governments and state colleges and universities.

His involvement in the association led to his appointment earlier this year to the editorial advisory board of In-Plant Graphics, a monthly magazine for organizations with in-house printing facilities.
