The State of Ohio wants to help ensure that all state employees and state job applicants know their employment rights.
They are guaranteed the right to freedom from discrimination in employment, the right to equal opportunity throughout all aspects of the employment process and the right to file a complaint if they believe discrimination has occurred.
These rights are further explained in "Know Your Rights," a pamphlet recently updated by the DAS Equal Opportunity Division's EEO/AA Unit. It defines employment discrimination and unlawful harassment and also lists enforcement agencies to turn to for guidance.
The pamphlet is available on the EOD Web site at www.das.ohio.gov/KnowYourRights.

This portion of the DAS eNewsCenter is for Equal Opportunity Division Customers.
