DAS events

A new DAS Calendar of Events has been created to help inform employees about agency activities and to help avoid conflicts.
The calendar is accessible from many locations on the DAS Web site, including the DAS eNewsCenter front page and Administrative Support Division front page.
This calendar replaces the former calendar on the DAS Web site as well as the Lotus Notes desktop calendar, which will no longer be maintained.
Events listed on the calendar
will include official agency activities as well as other events added to the
calendar for informational purposes at the discretion of the DAS Office of
Communications. Official agency activities meet at least one of the following
criteria:
Are statewide, agency-wide or division-wide
events;
Require participation by the governor or director;
Are recurring events, such as those held annually,
quarterly or monthly;
Require advance planning and/or state funds.
Event managers and others aware of events appropriate for the calendar are asked to please inform the calendar liaison in their division. The liaisons are as follows:

The liaisons will submit the event information to the Office of Communications for posting to the site. This new process was created by an agency-wide Quality Services Through Partnership process improvement team.
