DAS employees Make A Difference
-- Office of Employee Services, November 2002

Several DAS employees contributed to the agency's Make A Difference Day campaign.

For the third year in a row, DAS donated items to CHOICES for Victims of Domestic Violence, a women's shelter, and the Take It To The Streets foundation, an organization reaching out to the Columbus homeless population. DAS employees contributed many towels and bed linens to CHOICES, and blankets and money to the Take It To The Streets foundation.

Thanks to all the employees who made a donation to these worthwhile causes. They will make a difference in the lives of central Ohioans.

Make A Difference Day is the largest national day of helping others. Ohio First Lady Hope Taft was honorary co-chairperson of the Ohio initiative this year along with Ohio State University football coach Jim Tressel.
