Awardees honored

Congratulations to the following 11 employees who received DAS Superior Accomplishment Awards at a ceremony held July 28:

Administrative Support Division -- William McCandlish, Tim Perdue and John Verdes, all of Management Information Systems.

General Services Division -- Angela Carder, State Architect’s Office; Therese Gallego, State Printing; Anne Inman, State and Federal Surplus Services; and Tom Stewart, Properties and Facilities. In addition, Jerry Rhodes of the GSD Business Office received an honorable mention because he already had received a Superior Accomplishment Award within the year.

Human Resources Division -- Tammy Johnson, Business Office.

Office of Information Technology, Service Delivery Division -- Nani Carroll and George Padavick, both of Enterprise Computing.

The awardees were recognized during the ceremony, which was held in the Lobby Hearing Room, by DAS Director Scott Johnson, DAS Assistant Director Nikki Guilford and OIT Director Greg Jackson.

The Superior Accomplishment Award program is the agency's employee recognition program. After being nominated by co-workers, managers, employees or customers, awardees are chosen by a committee for their outstanding work, quality service, enthusiasm, dedication and teamwork.
