DAS employees will have several opportunities to donate blood at DAS worksites during 2003.

Below are the 2003 schedules for DAS-sponsored blood drives in the Rhodes Tower Blood Donor Center and Employee Health Service-sponsored blood drives in the State of Ohio Computer Center (SOCC).

To schedule appointments for the SOCC blood drives, please contact Employee Health Service at the SOCC via e-mail, or phone, (614) 644-3512.

Blood drives are held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Employees interested and eligible to donate are asked to speak with their supervisor to identify the blocks of time they are available to donate. After making the appointment, employees are asked to please inform their supervisor of the appointment time.

Individuals in good health are eligible to donate whole blood up to six times a year at intervals of 56 days. For information about donor eligibility, please visit the American Red Cross Central Ohio Region's Web site or call them at (614) 251-1451 or 1-800-GIVE LIFE.
