Users shape MyOhio.gov
to suit their needs

-- Office of the State Chief Information Officer, March 2003

An enhanced State of Ohio Web page is up and running, but how it looks is up to you.

MyOhio.gov allows visitors to customize the site to highlight the information and services about state government important to them.

"This is a significant step forward in our pledge to move the customers of state government, the people of Ohio, from in line to online," Governor Bob Taft said.

Users need only to enter a county, ZIP code or school district to see the latest information on a variety of topics, including local road conditions and their schools, during each visit.

The site also offers links to your state and federal legislators. The latest news releases from state agencies, Ohio historical facts and a daily health tip also are posted.

There's also an online chat feature providing live help weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from an operator if you need assistance navigating the site.

This portion of the DAS eNewsCenter is for Computer Services Division customers.

State Chief Information Officer Greg Jackson oversees what are now the DAS divisions of IT Governance and IT Service Delivery as well as the Digital Ohio section, formerly known collectively as the Computer Services Division. The change was effective July 1, 2003.
