Greg Jackson ranked IT leader

Computerworld, a national publication covering news from the IT manager's perspective, has named Ohio Chief Information Officer Greg Jackson as one of its Premier 100 IT Leaders for 2004.

Winners were selected from 500 candidates nominated by public and private organizations worldwide.

Now in its fifth year, the Premier 100 awards program recognizes leaders from technology and business arenas. The criteria encompasses common characteristics top technology and business leaders deemed essential of IT leaders. These traits include showing exceptional technology leadership, fostering ideas and creative work environments, demonstrating innovative approaches to business problems and effectively managing IT strategies.

Honorees will be recognized during the Premier 100 IT Leaders conference, which will be held March 7 to 9 in Palm Desert, Calif.
