PURPOSE: To engage you in learning that focuses on foundational knowledge and skill development and to prepare you for learning. Passport 2 focuses more on teams and project management skills.
PROCESS: Put your seat belts on and get ready to learn! The Passport programs are designed with the adult learner in mind. You will work with partners, in small groups to discuss and apply learning; you will also have the opportunity to learn on your own. A pre-assessment will help you determine your level of confidence in the competency areas and a post assessment will tell you how far you’ve come during your learning experience
PAY-OFF: Upon completion of Passport to Learning you will be able to apply the knowledge and skills found in the competency model below.

Who Should Attend
Open to government employees of the State of Ohio. There is a fee for the course for local, municipal or county or employees not paid by warrant of the State of Ohio Auditor's Office.
How to Apply
- Secure approval of your supervisor/manager.
- Complete an Office of Learning and Professional Development training application.
- Submit form to our office by mail or fax.
- First, you will receive a notice of receipt and second, a notice of placement in the course.
