Human Resource Academy

  

PURPOSE: The Human Resources Academy will provide new and on-going professional development for HR generalists, specialists, administrators, and managers. Some segments of this program also fulfill the development plans of supervisors attending the Ohio Certified Public Manager Program.

PROCESS: Professionals in the Human Resource and HR Development fields will facilitate your learning. Whether online or in person at our Surface Road location, your experience will be engaging, rewarding and directly applicable to what you do as an HR generalist, specialist or administrator/manager.

PAY-OFF: As an HR professional within the State of Ohio, you will earn the credit hours needed to maintain your professional accreditation (HRCI/IPMA) and/or become proficient in applying the competencies described in the competency model below.

Who Should Attend

Must be a manager/supervisor or employed in a human resources function area.
Ohio government employees must be exempt from bargaining units.

How to Apply

  1. Secure approval of your supervisor/manager.
  2. Complete an Office of Learning and Professional Development training application form.
  3. Submit form to our office by mail or fax.
  4. After your application is approved, you will be notified when to enroll in our online registration system.
