Stressed, Depressed and Fed Up: 

A Closer Look at Mental Health in the Workplace

The Ohio Department of Administrative Services, Ohio Employee Assistance Program (OEAP) is sponsoring the 2016 OEAP Annual Resource Conference. You are invited to participate in the conference scheduled for Tuesday,Oct. 4 at the Ohio Department of Agriculture in Reynoldsburg.

This training and resource conference will address stress, depression and anger as they relate to mental health concerns in the workplace. The conference will provide attendees an opportunity to learn about the latest trends as well as network with other experienced State of Ohio professionals.

Conference Highlights
Focusing on behavioral health; specifically stress, depression and anger; the conference will feature concurrent workshops where participants can engage in discussions on topics including:

  • Yes, Virginia, There is Mental Health in the Workplace;
  • From Burned Out to Balanced: Undoing the Effects of Stress;
  • Strategies to Recognize and Intervene with Struggling Employees; and
  • Optum's Family Support Program and Utilization Trends.

As OEAP's signature event of the year, this conference offers broad and robust training opportunities for the State of Ohio professionals. It promises to bring together approximately 150 professionals from throughout the State of Ohio to network and learn best practices for dealing with mental and behavioral health issues in the workplace.

Continuing Education Units
