Defensive Driving Awareness Class
DDC4 is a fast paced, four-hour classroom program focusing on the importance of attitude in accident prevention and avoidance. In addition, the good driving skills students already possess are reinforced, making this an ideal refresher course. DDC4 emphasizes the consequences of poor choices made behind the wheel and puts defensive driving into a personal context.

Adult Remedial Driver Class
DDC8 is an eight-hour state approved driver program. It addresses high risk driver behaviors and attitudes. The Adult Remedial Driver program offers practical strategies and discussion related to: preventable and non-preventable crashes; the practice of defense driving; how to avoid a collision with other vehicles; how to avoid an intersection collision; passing; and how to avoid other common types of collisions.

It is recommended that all state employees attend driver improvement programs.
