Rhodes Modernization


Plans are underway for a construction project that will modernize the James A. Rhodes State Office Tower. The project will include increasing energy efficiency by adding insulation and new window systems as well as façade improvements. The Rhodes Tower is the tallest building in downtown Columbus, and at 41 stories, the tallest building in state government, with construction completed in 1974.
