Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Academy Overview
The EEO Academy is a biannual training sponsored by the Equal Opportunity Division of the Ohio Department of Administrative Services. During the Academy, subject matter experts will present related course material to ensure that professionals are up-to-date with the causes and effects of employment discrimination, compliance with EEO laws, and valuing diversity. We would like to thank all presenters for taking the time and care to present such relevant information during the Academy. It is our goal to enhance professionalism by providing leadership and continuing education in EEO to EEO and other human resources professionals.
Academy courses are conducted from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. beginning Friday, Oct. 2 and concluding on Friday, Dec. 4 in the auditorium of the Ohio Department of Transportation, located at 1980 W. Broad St.
Participants may earn up to 29 continuing education units (CEUs) from The Ohio State University’s Office of Distance Education and eLearning. EEO practitioner certificates will be provided for qualified participants based on valid signatures verifying class attendance.
