PURPOSE
The purpose of this directive is to establish guidelines for the preparation
and circulation of agency, division and office organizational charts.
GENERAL
All appointing authorities
must maintain a current organizational chart, and if possible, must
electronically submit copies of it to the Office of Collective Bargaining,
Human Resources Division, Department of Administrative Services, each
January unless the agency is scheduled for a position description
compliance review within that calendar year. If an agency is scheduled
for a position description compliance review within that calendar
year, the agency must submit the chart on the date of the scheduled
onsite compliance review. This chart should reflect all positions
in the agency by position control number, and classification title
and/or number, and the name of the employee currently assigned thereto.
Whenever changes occur in an agency's structure, a revised chart should
be filed with the above-referenced office immediately.
This directive supersedes
any previously issued directive or policy and will remain effective
until canceled or superseded.
